 Car Rider Procedures Morning Drop Off:

 Please drop your child off on the west side of the building.

 Please have your child ready to get out when it is his/her turn.(shoes on, jackets on, backpack accessible, etc.)

 The tardy bell rings at 7:45 am. Any student arriving on campus after 7:45, must be accompanied by an adult to the office to receive a tardy slip.

 Bell jams (music) begins at 7:40 am to remind students to “hustle” to class.

Afternoon Pick Up:

 Please DO NOT arrive on campus prior to 3:00 pm. Buses will exit the premises before car riders and walkers are dismissed.

 Remain in your vehicle during pick up.

 Once the car rider line begins to move, all students whose parents remain in the car rider line will be released BEFORE those students whose parents walk to the front door. REMEMBER: SAFETY FIRST!!!!

Reminders for Parents  Please label all of your child’s belongings.

 All car riders must be at Oak Park by 7:35 am in order to eat breakfast.

 Please check your child’s folder/backpack daily.

 You must notify in writing to the teacher of any changes in transportation.

 Please refrain from using your cell phone while moving through the car rider line.

 All visitors must report and present an ID in the front office.

REMINDERS for PARENTS

Do not forget to send your child to school with a water bottle daily.

 Pay your school fees online or send the money in a marked envelope. You will receive a receipt for payment.

 Label your child’s belongings– jackets, lunch box, water bottle, etc.

 Parents should remain in your car when dropping students off in the morning. Please do not park and walk up to the door.  Please check your child’s backpack/folder daily.
