Families want to help their children become strong readers but don’t always know where to start. At the Mississippi Department of Education, we provide the necessary resources, activities and information, so you can help your children become strong readers and strong leaders. Get started by selecting your child’s grade level.

REMINDERS for PARENTS

Do not forget to send your child to school with a water bottle daily.
Pay your school fees online or send the money in a marked envelope. You will receive a receipt for payment.
Label your child’s belongings– jackets, lunch box, water bottle, etc.
Parents should remain in your car when dropping students off in the morning. Please do not park and walk up to the door. Please check your child’s backpack/folder daily.
Please refrain from using your cell phone while moving in the car rider line.
